Suncoast Farms Amenities for You & Your Horse

At Suncoast Farms, we are fortunate enough to offer something that is very different from the average horse boarding facility. On our expansive 40-acre ranch, the focus is on space, peace, quiet, endless riding opportunities, and luxury for both horse and owner!

Our Horse Pens are Really Large!

Our horse pens are larger than almost any in Southern California, with our smallest pen measuring around 50x70 feet for a single horse, and our double-pens averaging 75x85 feet.

We also have very large pens for three or four horses, measuring about 100x450 feet – the biggest for miles!

All our pens have a large shelter, automatic waterer, and quality fencing.

The Grass is Always Greener at Suncoast Farms

Another luxury unique to Suncoast Farms is the year-round grass pastures, unheard of in this coastal desert climate. Your horse can spend hours grazing on one of our green fields after working hard for you under saddle.

Other Bells and Whistles for Your Horse

Of course, we have all the normal bells and whistles you will find at other facilities, including arenas, wash racks, sand turnouts and round pens, plus our own quarter-mile training track – perfect for starting a youngster or just to amble lazily along.

Horse Owners Have their Own Luxuries at Suncoast Farms

Now that your horse has a great spot, for you we provide your own private cabin-style tack room. After a good ride out on the local trails, or after the challenges of the arena, you can hang out on your own deck, or fire up the BBQ and invite some friends over. The ranch is open 24 hours a day, every day, so there is no dusk to dawn curfew.

Beach Trails, Desert Trails, Arenas, Cuyamaca, Pacific Crest: We Have it All!

Suncoast Farms is located in the Tijuana River Valley, which offers miles of great trail riding, including one of the last places to ride your horse on the beach. You could explore the trails, ending up with a sunset canter along the sand.

We also have many clients who like to work out in our arenas, improving dressage moves or natural horsemanship skills.

Just a short trailer ride away are the famous trails at Cuyamaca State Park and, my personal favorite, the Pacific Crest Trail, a 2650-mile border to border challenge!

Suncoast Farms is a Quiet, Calm, Peaceful Place for You and Your Horse

Suncoast Farms is a quiet and calm horse boarding facility. We do not much go in for high drama or intense training facility types (though we do have several trainers on-site). Our clients love their horses and want what’s best for them.

If you need box stall and blankets, and a ton of shavings, then we probably won’t work for you. If you want your horse to live in as natural an environment as is possible in southern California, then we might fit just perfectly!
